Advanced Programme in Digital Business Leadership (APDBL)
The information systems and technology function and the IT service providers are in the throes of the so-called 'digital' shift, a shift that is as palpable in its consequences for business performance and talent as it is difficult to specify. Digital has opened up enormous opportunities for those willing to transform while leaving little for those reluctant to explore. We expect that, while technical capabilities would remain to be core components of such a reskilling, it would also involve a review of traditional managerial competencies. Digital enablement initiatives will require firms to nurture business leaders who can sense, think, craft, and act upon digital strategies. It is towards this need for techno-managerial cognitive reskilling that the Advanced Programme on Digital Business Leadership seeks to contribute.
